The Cloud Caller (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a service of Ammacatize Pty Ltd as trustee for the A P E Z Family Trust (ABN 45 142 725 170), trading as The Cloud Caller. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

When you call a phone number serviced by The Cloud Caller, or when you use our service through our tradie customers, we collect:

3. Who we share it with

We rely on the following sub-processors. Each handles personal information only to perform the service described, under confidentiality obligations:

We share information with the tradie customer whose number you called — that’s the whole point of the service. We may share information with law enforcement or regulators if required by law or if safety is at risk.

4. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)

Some of the sub-processors listed above are located outside Australia, principally in the United States. By using The Cloud Caller you consent to your personal information being disclosed to and processed in the United States for the purposes of running the service. We take reasonable steps to ensure our sub-processors handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs, including through contractual terms and each provider’s own privacy and security commitments.

5. Recording disclosure

Calls to numbers serviced by The Cloud Caller are recorded and processed by an AI system. The AI will identify itself as such at the start of the call. If you do not consent to recording or AI processing, you can hang up and the tradie’s voicemail or an alternative contact will still be available.

6. SMS consent

If you provide your mobile number to book an appointment, we will send you SMS confirmations and reminders about that appointment. This is a transactional message tied to the service you requested. To opt out of non-essential messages reply STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply.

7. Retention

We retain call recordings, transcripts, and call records for 30 days by default to support service operation, and up to 12 months if required for dispute resolution, legal obligation, or quality assurance. After that we delete or de-identify the data.

9. Security

We store data in Australia where practical, encrypt data in transit (TLS), and restrict access to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected individuals and the OAIC of any eligible data breach as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

10. Children

The Cloud Caller is not intended for use by children under 15. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when the current version was published. Material changes will be announced on this page.
